Its so hard to believe Mothers day is around the corner, because we are normally not open on Sundays wanted to let you know we well be open Mothers Day from 2 until. Great Specials and a special gift for MOM….because we all know what an important job that is Make your reservations early to be sure to get the time slot you want!!

If you see our commercial please let us know and where you are we love to see where our advertising dollars reach!! Your help with this is most appreciated.

Don/t forget wine night every Wednesday but a very special one On Wednesday the 25th to celebrate our rebirth or Phoenix Party if you will with lots of great specials and fun.

We have had so many coming in and enjoying the bistro Menu, that little addition to our repertoire has really taken off.

Changing seasons

It’s kind of a gloomy morning…on the bright side another morning the hot tub will warm me. I know so many like to move south or complain about winter…for me the season changes are each special and a chance to enjoy certain “perks” if you will. I can change menu items, different items take center stage…for instance waiting with baited breath for local wild leeks and asparagus. Planting tomatoes with my kids, chilled soups, fun salads and days off of really cooking and eating outside. ( I do cook out side all winter) I will miss the fires in the fire places…and having the hot tub cranked all the way up:) I will enjoy my yard, my deck and listening to the kids enjoy the pool…I will enjoy making fruit salsa’s for fish and tantalizing your taste buds with fresh local produce. I will enjoy leaving the treadmill and walking outside and seeing the neighbors. I won’t miss the mud of spring, I will look back fondly on snow covered branches. This month will always stir up emotions in me, healing from my near death experience And the anniversary of the fire both things changed life forever….mostly all in positive ways… Appreciate the changes, the seasons, the loves in your life…savor each moment savor each bite…..if you are reading this know I am grateful you are in my life. Thank you.

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day. Wanted to give a heads up Wednesday the 21 we have limited seating, reservations are definitely recommended. Saturday the 24th we are closed to the public for a very special Wedding…so we hope to see you Wednesday , Thursday or Friday…..and please make a reservation for Wednesday as up stairs is sold out and down is filling up fast. The march special advertising experiment…buy 2 or more entrees and gett 2 desserts or apps for the the price of one is going strong…can you guess where the most exposure comes from?

Our share on Facebook contest is going great!!! 400 to 3000 and we will draw a winner for the 100 dollar gift certificate…..

French dinner and raffle drawing is monday the 12th….still a few seats left if anyone else would like to come to 5 course French dinner to support the South Jefferson high school French trip!!

Next Wednesday Barry Smith will provide acoustic guitar and vocals for wine night.

Our new wine list is in effect, just waiting on the Coyote Moon delivery…everything else is available…highly recommend the port and the ice wines….for the connoisseur we have some end full and half bottles…for a limited time if you buy Perrier Jouet grand brut you will receive a pair of beautiful etched champagne flutes.

Also on for wine and martini nights we have expanded our bistro menu.

Spring is almost here and we know everyone wants to get out!! We are trying a little experiment…we are running a special 2 apps OR 2 desserts for the price of one with 2 entrees!!! All you have to do is say you saw it on newzjunky, radio, Facebook or our web site!! We want to see what advertising works best!!!

Lots of new apps and desserts on our menu and specials!!! Althouh our new wine list is not printed much of it is available already!! Including ice wine and the most amazing cockburns 10 year old tawny port bursting with figs!!!

If you have not been in to try our new menus come on out tonight!!!! The calamari has been a huge hit, as are the new specials!!! Fresh halibut tonight and Chinese 5 spice and ginger rubbed shrimp wontons….proscuitto and gorgonzola ravioli….shrimp opal, with snow peas, portabella, roasted red and yellow peppers topped with goat cheese and sooo much more….a few new dessert selections as well….the new wine list should be ready after next week…but some have arrived already if you want to try them out!!!

Don’t forget wine night…we have lots of new bistro items like flat bread pizza with carmelized onions, gorgonzola and balsamic reduction, pot stickers, oyster shooters topped with pepper vodka coming this week and our new menu debuts Wednesday and can be viewed online!!! We still have room pre- Valentines weekend and Valentines day but filling fast…we will have our whole menu and fabulous specials. Wait until you try our new calamari app, it has had rave reviews!!! We also added new signature dishes, new sauce and side items and made room for lots of new specials…we are almost ready with the new wine list and dessert menu too!!!! See you soon!!! Let’s keep the prayers for Ben flowing!

Wow been a while!!!

We have had a very busy holiday season and New Years Eve was our biggest night ever. It was a fantastic year for us in business. A couple of health issues did not hold us back!!! In may I had major surgery, a five fork review and we were named female entreprenuers of the year by this SBDC, and in January got the number one spot for restaurants year in review, we are also nominated by our friends at the SBDC for the JCIDA New Venture award, whether we win that or not it is a huge honor and an amazing way to start the year!!! We plan to keep growing, learning and striving to be better everyday!! Than you!

Nov/Dec. Schedule

As much as it does not seem possible that the Holidays are on top of us I wanted to update you to what our schedule looks like thus far

November 9th we have a Ferguson and Riogers for Our One year re-opening party and 2 dollar wine night along with lots of other great specials. Please join us.

November 13 closed for a private party, it is a Sunday but will not be available for any booking.

November 17th our upstairs dining room is booked, we have plenty of room down stairs.

We will be open for wine night the November 23rd but closed on Thankgiving and open Black Friday and Saturday of course.

December 1 our down stairs is booked for lunch, we can do a second luncheon upstairs if anyone is interested.

December 2 Day is available for large parties we are booked for that night, we may be able to take a few small reservations.

December 7th our Bistro area is booked and we will have entertainment for a special birthday celebration wine night.

December 8th our downstairs is booked for lunch we are available upstairs for lunch. On Thursday December 8th our upstairs dining area is booked, but we are still open down stairs.

Dec. 10 we have one smaller Holiday Party booked but room for another group.

December 15th Thursday our upstairs is booked.

December 16th One smaller Holiday party booked, still room for another group or reservations.

We will be happy to do Parties right through the 23rd of December but closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so we can all enjoy our families.
